This is an easy choice for me: the dining room. Typically situated at the front of the home, the dining room naturally draws attention and curiosity when guests arrive. It also serves as a gathering place for meals, which creates the perfect setting for good conversation.

I'm particularly fond of the atmosphere of a moody, candle-lit dining room can create. It sets the stage for deep, engaging discussion. Like powder rooms, dining rooms offer the chance to be bold and make a statement, allowing for a distinct departure from the rest of the home.
