Rising Sun is backed by rows of towering pine trees. A familiar scene in East Texas. The client wanted to bring warmth into their new build. It was important to them that they could have a welcoming and relaxed environment for their young family and many friends. Vignettes of washed wood tones and porous texture became the through line in the design plan. What used to be an endless sea of white walls evolved into a layered pallete marked by muted hues and mixed materials.
